At For The Love Of Westies, we believe in responsible breeding practices that prioritize the health and happiness of our dogs. Our goal is to produce high-quality AKC West Highland White Terriers that fit perfectly into loving homes.

We do things differently than most breeders.
*Our Mamas are only bred once a year. Then they retire at the age of six. They live out the remainder of their life with us as they are our family. We do not sell our retired employees females.
All our puppies are well socialized with our other Westies and my children as well as myself. They are all our family.

My name is Sabrina Mason, owner and founder of my business “For The Love Of Westies”
I have loved Westies since I was a young child. Growing up I had a very good friend who had two! A boy and a girl. Ironically before moving back to Germany they bred them and had a litter. (Years later the same couple who got one of those puppies got one from me, how cool is that)So that was it, my love for them was set in my heart! Then came the day I got my own Westie. I got Bella Roo before I had my first daughters born. Bella was my baby! We did everything together. I even bought her a basket for my bike. That way if she got tired of running aside me she could still enjoy the ride! Fast forward to today. I have two beautiful daughter and many Westies. They all live with us in our home, they are family! After breeding Bella one time I fell even more in love. I had always wanted to do more in the Veternary field. However my first daughter was born she had a left temporal hemorrhage(a brain bleed). It left her with life altering complications and disabilities. So I became a full time single mom when Kyra was about 4years old. I have always had a very close friendship with all 4 of my Veterinarian’s, and their practice/ hospital is minutes from me. Over the years my knowledge and true appreciation for all the amazing qualities westies have prospered. I knew I could bring something to the table with my profound love, and dedication to healthy well loved and raised westies. Everyday I get to share my time with my daughters and all our pups big and small!
So our babies get one on one love in our home daily. We have one Harlequin Great Dane who thinks she’s a big mom to all our Westies! Lol We are very selective on our new forever homes our babies go to.

The Westies are so close to my heart.
So I continue this for the true love of the breed, as well as the loving families I choose in my selection process. My job is to ensure every single one of my babies gets the very best home possible. Along with proper health testing and veterinary care. So with that said I don’t just choose anyone. I do not allow just anyone to get a puppy from me. This is one thing I do to make sure my pups go to proper homes!
The joy brought back to my puppy families seeing that little Westie face again that most have lost. That is impactful on my heart. When I see that, it reminds me again why i do this 💗
I have been carful in my selection process of my Westies. My goal is ensuring healthy strong blood lines with the optimal temperaments.
My puppies get an extensive amount of socializing. This really makes each and every pup that much more special. We never Kennel our pups or parents. They don’t live like “breeders “ might provide for their “dogs” mine as I said are family and live inside with us, no one goes in a kennel.
We have been blessed to not have had any issues with allergies/skin issues or other rare health issues related to Westies.
I have two daughters, as I said.
My one daughter 11yrs old, is also autistic. She dotes on the puppies multiple times daily.
It has become therapeutic for her and consequently for the pups too of corse! This is the most amazing part, loving these babies! My newest Westie lover is my (5 year old daughter).
She gets a kick out of all the dogs. Especially mama Ivie, they just click! I hear Amara talking to them all the time, it tickles my heart. Ivie just can’t get enough of my 5year old. She laughs and laughs and Ivie kisses and kisses. Ivie just can’t leave her alone, and loves to be right with her. Well none of the dogs can they love the kids so much!
So as I said a huge part of my pups is proper exposure. They get a lot of socialization with humans as my daughter never likes to put them down somedays! Lol!! Human handling as it’s referred to, is so good for the puppies when done right and with gentle love. As well as appropriate timing :-)
We have 10 amazing loving westies and our one Harlequin Great Dane.
Daddy around here to all our litters is Theodore! He’s my dude, and he is one happy stud muffin lol! He is the father to all my litters... I have 4 girls I breed with him. I take a lot of pride and dignity in the individual care of each, young or old. All of their little personalities 🥰 have really attributed to a very special energy in our home! There is a spirit within them you’d have to own Westie to know! We’ll never be without one!
I am a legal business and I am fully kennel licensed and inspected. Though I do not ever kennel my dogs. I have been very blessed to have the ability to be able to work from home. So I’m here daily with them and my children, so they are all a bit spoiled!
I take a lot of pride in my babies . 💗💗💗Everyone of our dogs are our family they sleep with me and my daughters every night. Their well-being is my number one concern as well as their babies. This is why I’m selective in my homes for these little angels.
My whelping area is inside my home 😊after all they are family! I stay with my moms from the start to the end of birthing and they sleep with me in my room for the first 1-2weeks. Just like having a new human baby, I make sure my mamas and babies are thriving and safe. I don’t mess around when it comes to doing things correctly.
As I said before if I have any feeling something is wrong with my moms or babies we are 5 mins from our vets. I will not hesitate for any reason to go. As my father always says. If you’re going to do something do it right or don’t do it! I’m firm on that!
I have 24/7 cameras in our home and on my pups at all times and recording. That way I can see them anytime 😊 and anywhere I am at. They are even a bit spoiled! I have cable tv on 24/7 for them as well!
So they get the 411 on Animal Planet! Lol ... I think the same principle with children the more exposure and noise the better for them :-) If we limit them, then this is when fear or other things can come into play- my belief.

I’m just a small little family, so we only have a few litters a year! So I can have a waiting list. However, some have found their pups before I get back to them on the list. So your place can change. I do have a Retainer List. This is a $50.00 deposit you can put down to stay on my Retainer list and be guaranteed a pup within my next upcoming litters.
